Countdown to Christmas Parade!

Information on the Bakersfield Christmas Parade. The theme for this year's parade is "CHRISTMAS AROUND THE WORLD". Everyone is invited to participate and join the fun of this traditional holiday parade.
The Bakersfield Christmas Parade will begin at 6:00 pm and end at 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 6, 2007. The parade will be televised by KGET TV-17 & KKEY TV-11 Telemundo. Though it will be hard to top last year's parade, this year promises to be equally spectacular. With marching bands, motorcycles, horses, festive floats and Santa Claus, the parade offers something for everyone.

The parade route will begin at the corner of "L" and 22ND continuing south on "L" Street to 21ST Street. It will turn right on 21ST, cross over Chester Avenue and turn left on "H" Street. It will continue to 20TH Street where the parade will turn left and will move east to end at the corner of 20TH and "L" Street. Please join everyone downtown for this highlight of the holiday season!
